RIPE - Research & Innovation Partnership in Engineering

RIPE was initiated in 2006 to provide an unbureaucratic platform for engineering freelancers to adaptively team up and develop novel technical applications and products. Primary goal of RIPE is the demand-driven innovation at all levels of technical complexity using the best technology available, widely following the open innovation paradigm.

Key questions we address at RIPE is "What would be nice to have but does not exit yet?" and "How can it be done cost-effectively?".

Members of RIPE are usually graduates of the engineering sciences who are dedicated to introduce novel technical concepts to the market place, apply recent results of academic research to new technical systems as well as to foster the advancement and utilization of smart high-technology. They pursue the independent development of high-tech products but contract research and development, prototyping as well as consulting is equally addressed.

RIPE intents to give self determination and independence to its members while joining their capabilities and expertise in the benefit of innovative products as well as contractors and clients.
